The Course covers a theoretical and practical approach to the analysis and design of Power Converters commonly used in the field of ICT as battery charges, voltage regulators, off-line power supplies, etc..
The main topics focused in the course are the following:
Analysis and design of DC-DC PWM converter topologies operated in CCM and DCM.
Small signal modeling of PEM DC-DC converters and their frequency domain analysis.
Resonant dc-ac inverters and their operation at high frequencies (Mhz range).
Resonant ac-dc rectifiers and their operation at high frequencies (Mhz range).
Resonant ac-dc rectifiers and their operation at high frequencies (Mhz range).
Power converters for wireless power transmission.
