Simone Ledda was born in Florence (Italy) in 1975. He graduated in electronic engineering at the University of Florence, Italy. His thesis focused over Electromagnetism and RadioFrequency arguments and was first prize awarded at the "Feko Student Competition". From 2010 until today he has been working as Post-Degree Research Fellow with "Antenna and Microwave Laboratory" of the Electronic and Telecommunications Department and also he works as consultant and R&D Engineer with many companies. He has worked on research projects in collaboration with RaSS (National Laboratory of Radar and Surveillance Systems) and CNIT. The research focused over the analysis and design of a new concept passive Radar System and innovative planar FMCW Radar Front-End operating in K-Band at 24 GHz for telemetric anti-collision applications in security and automotive fields in order to safely avoided collisions in the respect of the security.
