Hi there! Computational Physiology and Biomedical Systems (ComPBioS) is a group of biomedical engineers at Department of Information Engineering, Università degli Studi di Firenze, Firenze, Italy, working on the multivariate analysis of biomedical signals and clinical data.
Our methods encompass the implementation of linear and nonlinear signal processing techniques and the deployment of Artificial Intelligence frameworks to characterise and model human physiology and behaviour, therefore the name.
Our aim is to develop Computer Aided Diagnostics (CAD) systems to support and facilitate healthcare professionals in several research fields, from otolaringology to neonatology, from psychiatry to pediatric neurology.
