Alessandro Ramalli was born in 1983 in Prato, Italy. He obtained the Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering by the University of Florence in April 2006, with a thesis on the programmable management of a linear ultrasound array. In July 2008 he graduated in Electronic Engineering at the same University, with an experimental thesis on the development of innovative beamforming techniques for ultrasound imaging systems. In 2012 he completed his PhD studies on the Development of novel ultrasound techniques for imaging and elastography. He is currently Post-Doc, with responsibility for the development of the imaging section of a research echograph implemented at the Microelectronic Systems Design laboratory of the University of Florence
